New Bees on the Block

I’ve got hundreds of pictures of bees I’ve taken from walking around the neighborhood. Most are of the bumble or honey variety, but sometimes I see something new.

This is the Agapostemon, or the “Sweat Bee”.
Its notable for their metallic green coloring.
This black bee might be a carpenter bee, but it looks a little small.
I am still trying to identify this species of bee.
